How to Get Saved

If you're reading this, it means you know it's time for something different. You may have grown up Jewish, like me, and tried to earn the love of God. Or maybe you didn't grow up religious at all, but always wondered if there was something out there.
Good deeds can't save us. Romans 10:3 talks about how the Pharisees didn't understand God's way of making people right with God, so they followed their own way of getting right with Him. This doesn't work.
Nothing can be who Yeshua is. He alone saves us.
In Revelation 3:20 Jesus said, "Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me."
By putting your faith in Yeshua today, you are answering the knock and He is coming into your life.
Romans 10:9 says, "If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved."
He is both willing and able to save you right now. Pray this prayer.
Dear Heavenly Father, I turn my back on sin. I want you to be my Father. Forgive me of my sins. I believe in my heart You raised Jesus from the dead. I confess with my mouth that Jesus is Lord and Savior of my life. I am on my way to Heaven and I will not turn back. I am clean. I am forgiven. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen.
Welcome the family! You are now a child of God.
Next steps:
Great! You're saved. Now what? Here's how to stay close to Jesus and never turn back.
Find a good church
Finding a full-gospel church or full-gospel messianic congregation to be a part of. Look for people who are unashamed to follow Jesus, speak in tongues, feed the poor, and heal the sick. Look for the love of Yeshua our Messiah. Pray and ask God to guide you and who you where to go. He will.
Get baptized
Baptism is an outward sign of your faith in Jesus. In Judaism, immersion is mostly private, but in the New Testament, people got baptized in public to show they were now followers of Messiah Yeshua.
Read the Bible
Seriously, it'll change everything. Read the Word of God on your own. He will speak to you through it and change your life. Knowing what God says on every matter will protect you and keep you on the right track. You can start with Genesis, the Psalms, the book of John- you choose.
Pray
Prayer without ceasing. Stay in constant communication with God. He doesn't care about fancy words or getting it just right. You can't get to know someone you don't speak to. Ask Him about everything. Tell Him what's on your heart.
You don't have to do this alone.
